A speedster has been handed a huge fine and left police shaking their heads at his actions north of Jimboomba,
The Regents Park man, 21, was clocked at 143km/h in a 60 zone at 11am on Thursday.

Police pulled the man's beige Audi A4 over on a service road beside the Mount Lindesay Highway.
The man was handed a ticket for breaking the speed limit by more than 40 kilometres per hour $1286 and received eight demerit points. He will lose his licence for six months.
Jimboomba's top cop, Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh, slammed the motorist's driving.
"It's ridiculous to be going almost three times the speed limit, and it shows a blatant disregard for other road users," Senior Sergeant Waugh said.
"That's too fast. The stop [stopping distance] is too hectic at 143."
Queensland is on track for a horror year on the roads, with 195 deaths already so far in 2021.
According to government documents, that is a 7.7 per cent increase on the same time last year.
Ninety five drivers have died on the state's road this year, and 49 passengers have lost their lives.
Motorcycle deaths on the roads are up by more than a third, the figures say.
Passenger fatalities have risen by more than 19 per cent.
But deadly crashes in the south eastern region, which takes in Logan and the Gold Coast police districts, have fallen over same period.
There have been 30 fatal accidents on the region's roads so far this year, down from 31 in 2020.
There were just 12 over the same period in 2019.
