POLICE caught a driver speeding and overtaking on double crossed lines on the Mount Lindesay Highway on July 11.
Jimboomba Police officer-in-charge Senior Sergeant Peter Waugh said a 52-year-old Flagstone man was driving at 133km/h on the Woodhill stretch of the highway.
“That little episode cost him nine points on his licence,” he said.
The man was fined $843.
This comes after police caught a 20-year-old Regents Park man speeding more than 40km/h over the limit at Carter Road, Mundoolun on July 1.
He was fined $1218 and lost eight points from his licence for speeding 106km/h in a 60 zone.
