Logan City Council says furry friends will be part of the family-friendly fun at the next Eats and Beats event, to be held at Berrinba Wetlands on August 26.
As well as the traditional live music and food trucks most Eats and Beats, children can also come face to face with animals at the event's free petting zoo.
City Lifestyle Chair Councillor Laurie Koranski said although the event had been relocated from Logan River Parklands due to ongoing repairs, it would still be just as enjoyable.
"Every two months, our travelling Eats & Beats festival is a welcome opportunity for City of Logan families to unwind and enjoy an entertaining evening out," Cr Koranski said.
"While we look forward to bringing the event back to Logan River Parklands soon, in the meantime, we encourage everyone to appreciate some great food and music in the serene surrounds of the Berrinba Wetlands."
The line up for the August event includes City of Logan singer Briana Dinsdale as well as Queensland Music Award youth winner Paulina Schuemann, singer songwriter Kaypo and R&B band Dezzie D and the Stingrays.
Division 5 Councillor Jon Raven said he was looking forward to hosting the event in his division, and the wetlands made for a great venue.
"We are excited to be bringing two City of Logan favourites - the Berrinba Wetlands and Eats & Beats - together once again," Cr Raven said.
"I can't wait to see people of all ages flocking to the wetlands, for a night of great food and music."
The Eats and Beats event in Berrinba Wetlands will start at 5pm on Friday August 26.
