A New Beith man will face court on drug and firearms offences after police raided his home and seized a significant quantity of drugs, cash and a firearm.
Officers from Jimboomba Police Station searched a New Beith property at 9am on July 28, and during the search police say they found approximately 40kg of cannabis, approximately $7000 cash, assorted drug utensils and an unregistered firearm with an amount of ammunition.
Police also say officers from the Logan District Criminal Investigation Branch also attended the location, and declared a crime scene.
The 29-year-old was arrested and has been charged with several offences including possessing dangerous drugs, possessing property suspected of being proceeds of drug offence and unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition.
The man is scheduled to appear in Beaudesert Magistrates Court later today, August 2.
