A new shared pathway will link residential, recreation and commercial areas in Logan Village.
The sealed path, for walking, jogging and cycling, will run from the My Home and River residential estate to Logan Village Green and retail areas of Logan Village.
It will extend from the western side of Anzac Avenue, through an underpass, and on to the intersection of River and Logan streets.

The path, which will be two-and-a-half metres wide, will run mostly parallel with the Logan River.
It will follow an off-road track used by some locals and will include a boardwalk bridge crossing a gully along the route.
It will feature way-finding signage and is designed to accommodate lighting, safety cameras and street furniture in the future.
The new pathway will eventually link to the proposed Logan Village to Yarrabilba Rail Trail walking and cycling track.
That trail was given a state government funding boost and will be completed this year.
t was one of three Logan projects to receive a slice of COVID-19 recovery funding, with the region getting $6.4 million.
The shared pathway project was one of the key outcomes of the Logan Village Summit.
The $1.1 million works complement the $1.6 million upgrade of the Village Green, including construction of community-inspired adventure playground, which is nearing completion.
It also follows recent news that Council is seeking tenders interested in operating café services on the Village Green.
City of Logan Mayor Darren Power said Council had committed $2 million to the Logan Village Implementation Fund to deliver priority projects identified from the summit.
"Priority projects were identified under two defining themes - connectivity and activation - and this shared pathway certainly delivers on that," Cr Power said.
City Lifestyle Committee Chair and local Division Four Councillor Laurie Koranski said the pathway would address the community's desire for improved connectivity and access to the Logan River.
"The Logan Village community is very proud of the area's rich heritage and natural beauty," Cr Koranski said
"The local community also embraces outdoor experiences such as bush walks, bike trails, horse-riding and access to the river.
"This new pathway will help enhance some of those experiences as well as providing a convenient riverside link for pedestrians and cyclists from My Home and River to the Green and local shops."
It comes after McDonald's lodged a DA for a 24-hour eatery in the town, angering locals.
