Logan Village Green will get a cafe as the council looks to take on board recommendations from the 2018 summit.
The Village Green site will be one of three for which Logan City Council will soon call tenders.
The summit brought together residents, business owners and community groups to have their say on the future of the historic village.

It attracted 334 submissions via focus groups and online forums, as residents suggested the village take advantage of its heritage, while establishing itself as a place of dining, art and culture.
City Lifestyle Committee chair Laurie Koranski said council listened to that feedback, as well as others from across the city who said more cafes were needed.
"The community has been crying out for a long time for this," Cr Koranski said.
"This was in the top five recommendations at the summit. Residents were very eager to see a coffee shop in town.
"Anyone local will know that there isn't somewhere [in the heart of Logan Village] where you can have a coffee with a friend or a business meeting."
The cafe will complement the historic Logan Village Hotel and a forthcoming rail trail in bringing tourists into the town.
The rail trail, to be run on a disused spur line, was given $1 million from this year's budget. The state government has given the project $2 milion.
"It will be another string to the bow," Cr Koranski said.
Priestdale's Underwood Park, which is the location of a $12 million multi-sport development, is also in line for a cafe.
The 198-acre Berrinba Wetlands is the third site, where people will enjoy a coffee while visiting the array of birdlife, walking and cycling trails.
"The recent redevelopment of Underwood Park and the current upgrade of Logan Village Green has given council the opportunity to go to tender for all three locations at the same time," Cr Koranski said.
"These are venues already enjoyed by various sporting clubs, families, community groups and people enjoying the outdoors.
"Offering a cafe service is value-adding to these already popular locations and helping to build tourism in the city.
"Council supports existing and new businesses in our city and is committed to creating jobs and improving amenity.
"These new cafes are an additional opportunity for those in the hospitality industry who have been impacted by the pandemic to get back on their feet or start a new venture."
The tenders for the three cafes will open next month.
Operators will be able to tender for multiple sites.
