THE keys to Yarrabilba State Secondary College have been handed over to principal Belinda Tregea and her team ahead of its official opening for term one next year.

This comes after Broad Construction completed phase one of the new high school.
Logan MP Linus Power said the key handover last week was a sign of significant progress.
"Teachers and support staff already on-site are excited about kitting out the buildings in anticipation of day one 2020," Mr Power said.
"The Admin Building and learning areas are wide open spaces that will be attractive to those who will work and learn there while the outdoor learning and sport areas are still under construction."
Parents interested in enrolling their students at Yarrabilba State Secondary College are encouraged to complete the process quickly to assist with projected numbers.
