AS THE Queensland road death toll passes 100, a motorcycle rider has been booked for doing 141km/h in an 80km/h zone on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
The 29-year-old was fined $1245 for the incident at Greenbank, one a series of serious incidents police were highlighting during road safety week.

In other serious speeding incident, a motorcyclist was caught on CCTV riding at 165km/h hour in an 80km/h in the Legacy Way Tunnel at Kelvin Grove. Police said he was also using his mobile phone while riding.
The incidents come during a shocking increase in the road toll, with 21 more lives lost on the roads than this time last year.
A man died in a motorcycle crash at Woodhill on April 22 when his bike hit two cars about 11.20am.
Road Policing Command's Acting Chief Superintendent Ray Rohweder said of the 100 lives lost on Queensland roads, 28 were motorcyclists, 41 were drivers and 20 were passengers.
"While our officers are doing all we can to keep motorists safe, road safety is a shared responsibility," he said.
Seven pedestrians, one pillion passenger and three cyclists have also died in serious crashes since the start of the year.
Transport Minister Mark Bailey said it was risky behaviour and poor choices that contributed to most serious crashes on the roads.
"Every year, about 1200 people are killed and another 44,000 are seriously injured on Australian roads," he said..
"Traffic injury is the biggest killer of children under 15 and the second-biggest killer of all Australians aged between 15 and 24."
The seventh Safer Roads, Safer Queensland Forum started in Brisbane today.
"Queensland has also introduced tougher penalties for drink and distracted driving, and later this year cameras that can detect drivers who use their mobile devices while driving will be out on our streets and highways," Mr Bailey said.
During National Road Safety Week Queensland landmarks, including the Story Bridge and Sir Leo Hielscher Bridges in Brisbane will turn yellow to promote road safety.
