A MAN was killed in this morning's Mount Lindesay Highway accident where a car caught fire.
The man, 38, died when his motorcycle hit a Mazda BT-50 utility and a Ford Mustang about 11.20am.
The Mustang caught alight and was destroyed.
The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene near Bamboo Circuit, police confirmed this afternoon.
The male driver of the utility received minor injuries to his forearms. His female passenger was uninjured.
Both the male driver and passenger of the Ford Mustang were uninjured.
Police are appealing to the public for dash-camera footage as part of their investigation.
Both northbound and southbound lanes of the highway remain closed. Police are diverting southbound traffic along Cedar Vale Road and northbound traffic along Bamboo Drive.
Forensic Crash Unit investigators are now appealing to any witnesses, or anyone who may have captured dash-camera footage, along the Mount Lindesay Highway between Undullah Road and Cedar Vale Road from 11.10am to 11.30am today, to come forward.

PARAMEDICS were treating two patients at the scene of this morning's accident on the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Queensland Ambulance Service said two patients were in stable conditions after the crash.

A CAR has caught fire after a serious accident which has blocked the Mount Lindesay Highway.
Police, ambulance and fire crews are at the crash site near Bamboo Drive, Woodhill.
Paramedics are treating multiple patients in the crash which reportedly involved a motorcycle and car.
Rural fire service crews are helping Queensland Fire and Emergency Services colleagues at the scene.
The crash happened about 11.20am. A QFES spokesman said fire crews have been at the scene since 11.45am.
The spokesman said the car was engulfed in flames when crews arrived.
The road is closed in both directions.
Police said northbound traffic was being diverted along Bamboo Drive, and southbound cars were travelling via Cedar Vale Drive.
