LOGAN residents can now receive their quarterly rates notices by email in a move the council said would save the environment.
Logan City Council's City Governance chair, Natalie Willcocks, said she encouraged people to save paper by logging on to get their rates notices.

"With close to 125,000 rateable properties in the city, council generates a lot of printing to issue the quarterly rates notices," she said.
"That's why we offer the online option to ratepayers, and I encourage people to consider using it.
"You can securely make payments, request emailed notices, view past payments and notices, see your current balance and add multiple properties to the same account."
To register, ratepayers can click here and fill out the online form.
Registration will be complete when the resident clicks confirm on an activation email.
Cr Willcocks said ratepayers could change their delivery method at any time.
She said new property owners could register for online rates notices after receiving their first rates notice. Rates notices are issued in January, April, July and October.
