Polair crews helped crews on the ground track a man suspected of hooning last week, before officers seized his car.
A 24-year-old Boronia Heights man will face hooning charges in Beenleigh Magistrates Court next month after fed-up locals reported burnouts on their streets to the Hoon Hotline.

Chopper crews tracked a black Ford Falcon to Mack Court, Boronia Heights, where they seized the man's car.
He ha been charged with wilfully driving a vehicle causing unnecessary noise or smoke, driving while disqualified and driving an unregistered vehicle.
Police said if the man was caught hooning again, the vehicle being driven would also be seized - even if it was not his.
Police thanked the public for reporting the driver.
"Several members of the public have contacted Browns Plains police to provide details in relation to this matter and the actions of the driver," Sergeant Shane Clark said.
"Without the assistance of these people, a prosecution is difficult to achieve."
Members of the public are encouraged to report hooning behaviour to the Hoon Hotline - 134 666.
