Footage from members of the public has helped police track down and charge a man with hooning-related offences at Edens Landing last month.
A 20-year-old Eagleby man has been charged with one count of wilfully making unnecessary smoke and noise, and will front Beenleigh Magistrates Court next week.
Police allege the man was driving a white Holden sedan that was captured on CCTV driving dangerously at the intersection of Castille Crescent and Avonmore Street around 1.30am on August 20.

His vehicle has been impounded for 90 days.
Senior Sergeant Corinne Brown said information from the public which can assist police in clearly identifying those involved in such offences is crucial.
"Hoons are a danger on our roads, putting themselves and other road users at risk," Senior Sergeant Brown said.
"Their noisy antics damage roadways and disrupt neighbourhoods.
"Police will continue to work with the community to identify hooning activity and take action as we have done on this occasion."
It comes after Logan City Council announced earlier this month it would launch $250,000 plan to put the brakes on hoons.
Council said it would set up a taskforce to tackle the problem which has plagued suburbs across the city and areas of the Scenic Rim.
New Beith and Greenbank have been among problem areas.
Hoons have angered locals there with excessive noise and smoke, and even discarded used tyres by the side of the road.
A New Beith man had his Holden Commodore impounded in June.
Police said at the time the man had been caught hooning on his own street, and footage from a nearby resident helped them identify him.
In July, a Jimboomba man had his Commodore ute confiscated after he was allegedly filmed doing burnouts at Boronia Heights.
