HARD Rock Australian band ChoirBoys will take centre stage as the signature act for Village Fest at the Logan Village Green on August 31.
The inaugural event will feature a mix of local and high profile live entertainment performers including Stateside, Forever Road, Ruby Jo and Chester.
More than 11 local businesses and community groups including the Logan Village Lion's Club and Yarrabilba's Thom and Ann's will showcase what the West Logan area has to offer.
Village Fest was inspired from Logan City Council's Logan Village Forum last year which investigated how to activate the Logan Village Green space.
The event will follow a similar format to the popular Eats and Beats festival but will be ticketed, licensed and fenced.
Logan Country Chamber of Commerce vice president Chyerl Pridham said the chamber was working hard to make the event a success.
"We are trying to showcase this part of Logan as different to the rest of Logan and particularly want to showcase our businesses," she said.
"When you have someone of the quality of Thom and Ann's, who have won a state government award two years in a row, it is good that they support us and we support them as a great success story for this area.
"If we pull (Village Fest) off this year we hope it will become an annual event and we will look to get bigger names to perform each year," she said.
People are encouraged to pre-book tickets online at the discounted price of $25 by August 30.
Tickets will cost $40 at the gate on the day and cash will not be accepted.
Village Fest gates will open at 2pm and will run until 7pm at 11-15 Logan Street.
