A TRANSLINK bus service connecting to the entire south-east Queensland network has been confirmed to operate from Yarrabilba next year.
This comes after the Queensland government revealed a TransLink bus service route connecting Flagstone to Browns Plains Grand Plaza was on track to run by November this year.
The 26 kilometre route starting from Trailblazer Drive will be a 40 minute trip and will be classed as zone three costing most go card commuters $3.31.
Logan MP Linus Power said Yarrabilba residents had until August 12 to submit feedback to TransLink on the proposed bus service.
"The new TransLink bus service for Flagstone and Greenbank will be up and running by the end of the year and I knew Yarrabilba needed one too," he said.
"Record numbers of Queenslanders are using public transport. That's why we want to gather as much feedback as possible before we start the service.
"I encourage residents to get involved and let us know what they need from public transport.
"Their input will help shape the future of public transport for the Yarrabilba community."
Feedback can be submitted on the Queensland government's Get Involved website.
Residents are encouraged to provide input on where they would like the bus service to travel and when services should operate.
The existing Logan Coaches bus service travels from Yarrabilba to Loganlea station and the Hyperdome.
TransLink officers will visit the Yarrabilba Mingle Markets and the Sport and Community Hub next during the survey period for personal feedback.
