FAMILIES are flocking to Mundoolun Park after a Logan Council face lift breathed new life into the playground.
The upgraded facility has been equipped with a replacement slide, BBQs, new trees, fresh signage and road marking on the bike track.
Councillor Laurie Koranski said the project was funded through her Division five budget at a cost of $236,500.
“I am super excited to see the completed park upgrade at Mundoolun,” Cr Koranski said.
“Now Mundoolun kids can ride their bikes and scooters whilst practicing their road safety skills.
“The traffic signs and lights dotted along the bike path make a trip to the park both fun and educational.
“I hope the new park facilities will be enjoyed by local families for many years to come.”
The park has proven popular among families despite vandals targeting the facility in October.
It is located on Scarborough Court near John Collins Drive.
