An NRL player has been arrested during a training session as police round up alleged major drug traffickers and freeze $10 million in assets over a suspected narcotics supply scheme.

Officers arrested the former Wests Tigers player Brandon Wakeham at a Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles training at Brookvale Oval in Sydney at 1.20pm on May 15.
He was charged with participating in a criminal group and taking part in supplying a prohibited drug.
A dedicated encrypted criminal communication device (DECCD) was found in the 25-year-old player's apartment as well as "other items relevant to their investigation", police said.
Police freeze $10 million in assets
The raids, that ended in three arrests, targeted a 47-year-old alleged drug supplier and "his associates", police said.
The 47-year-old was arrested after police pulled his car over in Ramsgate at 11.40am.
A search of his Sans Souci home found drugs, electronics and other evidence, police said.
Investigators froze $10 million in assets linked to the 47-year-old.
He was charged with knowingly directing the activities of a criminal group, supplying an unregistered firearm, knowingly dealing with the proceeds of crime and seven commercial drug supply charges.
A 24-year-old man was also arrested at 11.40am on May 15 and a search of his car allegedly found one kilogram of MDMA, 56 grams of cocaine and around $50,000 in cash.
He was charged with supplying an unregistered firearm, participating in a criminal group, five counts of knowingly dealing with proceeds of crime and five offences involving the commercial supply of drugs.
All three men face court on May 16.
Investigations are continuing, police said.
