Judges had their work cut out for them at Quota Jimboomba's 20th annual art show, as nearly sixty artists from Jimboomba, the Scenic Rim and beyond submitted about 200 pieces of art for their consideration.
Adding to an already-robust body of work on display at Jimboomba Hall, several local craftspeople brought their handiwork to sell.
Art show coordinator Brenda Fielding said she did not envy the judges due to the high calibre of work submitted.
"There was a lot of excellent work submitted," Mrs Fielding said.
2021 traditional art winner Christine Parry had entered the competition again this year, and once again took out the top prize.
Judge for several categories, including traditional and modern art, Mrs Gardner praised Ms Parry's work for satisfying the brief to a tee.
"[It was] beautifully composed, with a masterly handling of your medium," she said.

In a break from art show tradition, a second encouragement award was also given to Angelina Veloso for her photographic work 'The Peculiarity of Coexistence', for its novel use of 3D glasses.
Mrs Fielding also reflected on her two decades of involvement with the show, which culminated in its opening on Friday, October 7.
"It's been good, it's been an experience," she said.
"It's good to see everyone had a good time."
The dates for next year's art show have already been locked in, and the 2023 Quota Jimboomba art show will run from June 15 - June 17 2023, and eager artists can send their details to quotaartshow@outlook.com to stay in the loop.
