Several centenarians have had their milestone birthdays marked with letters from Her Majesty, such as Stockleigh resident Jean who turned 100 this April.
Other residents who had their days made when they received birthday wishes from the Queen include Aileen Van Son from Logan Village in 2020 and Jimboomba's Helen Young in 2018.
The late monarch has also had her hand in several diamond wedding anniversaries over the years, where happy couples received letters of congratulations.
These include George and Alma Patton who celebrated 60 years of marriage in 2014, Ray and Edna Lomax who had their diamond wedding anniversary in 2017 and Jan and Warren Laurent in 2020.
At the time, Mrs Laurent told the Jimboomba Times that she was surprised to receive the letter as they were a long way from the couple's original home in England.
"We didn't expect this at all," she said in 2020.
"I am surprised she [Queen Elizabeth] had even known we had left."
Readers of the Jimboomba Times also showed how loyal they were to the Queen during a 2021 poll.
Conducted online after the death of Prince Philip, the results from the poll showed that nearly 68 per cent of the 187 respondents supported remaining part of the Commonwealth.
