A share in $100,000 worth of funding is up for grabs as Queensland Country Bank opens up entries for its 2022 Good for Good Community Grants program.
The grants are designed to support community initiatives across an array of sectors including arts, culture, sport, health, recreation, education and sustainability.
Queensland Country Bank Jimboomba branch manager Brett Davies said the last of these, sustainability, was a key consideration for the organisation this year.
"Sustainability is a key issue of our time," Mr Davies said.
"As a member-owned organisation, we take great pride in being able to offer support for projects that not only leave a positive long-lasting impact in the community but also protect the planet.
"We're looking forward to once again supporting a range of incredible initiatives that build healthier and more inclusive communities for all Queenslanders."

Individual groups are able to apply for grants of up to $30,000 and president of the Jimboomba and District Sporting Association Jennifer Bishop said the $6500 her group received in 2020 was greatly appreciated.
"The purchase of the new floor scrubber, made possible through the Good for Good Community Grants, has enabled easier cleaning of the floor and has been beneficial during recent wet weather as it allowed us to extract water quicker and easier, minimising damage to the floor," Ms Bishop said.
"It has allowed easier and quicker cleaning of the floor surface in preparation for events held recently at the stadium."
Previous recipients of Good for Good Community Grants include the Kooralbyn Mountain Bike Club, which received $10,000 in 2019 to support the development of track facilities.
Ms Bishop strongly recommended local community groups take advantage of the opportunity, and apply for a grant.
"I would urge community groups to apply and take advantage of the Good for Good Community Grants," she said.
The local branch manager agreed, and said the grants were an opportunity for Queensland Country Bank to give back to the communities that support the bank.
"We encourage all community groups who are looking for financial support for their project to apply," Mr Davies said
"It is all part of our difference being a member-owned bank, which enables us to reinvest our profits back into supporting the local communities that support us."
Queensland Country Bank says it has handed out over $2.5 million to community groups since 2005, and the deadline for applications is July 31.
Applicants do not need to have an account with Queensland Country Bank. For full eligibility criteria and to apply visit the Good for Good Community Grants website.
