The group met at VK Everydays on June 22.
Committee member Jessica Purcell said the group aimed to support local practitioners and contribute to the local community in their role as lawyers and advocates.
Speaking to the Beaudesert Times last month, Ms Purcell said the group was keen to engage more with members in the Scenic Rim.
"I live in Woodhill, so I'm on the cusp of Logan and Scenic Rim, and am quite passionate about the Scenic Rim," she said.
Ms Purcell said about a dozen lawyers from Beaudesert, Logan Yarrabilba and Flagstone as well as duty lawyers from the Gold Coast Legal Centre.
"We also had Kate Avery there, she's a local born and bred," she said.
"She operates out of Brisbane but she wants to be part of the Scenic Rim Association because this is her home.
"Everyone was keen to come out again, and they were surprised at how pretty Beaudesert was.
"When they came out all the hot air balloons were up and it was just a perfect morning."
Ms Purcell said the visiting lawyers all received a warm welcome.
"The cafe was lovely and all the locals were really friendly so anyone who wasn't from Beaudesert really enjoyed the experience," she said.
"Actually we're planning on maybe having our AGM out here."
Ms Purcell said most of those in attendance were women.
"It was definitely female dominated and a lot of the practitioners out this way are women," she said.
"That was something we were talking about afterwards, that we might need to focus on women in law out through the regional areas."
