Ms Campbell won an Excellence Award for Department Head of the Year for her work as the Vocational Education and Training and Pathways Leader at Trinity College, Beenleigh.
As a teacher, Ms Campbell said winning the prestigious award was nice, but she "feels more satisfaction" seeing students succeed after school, regardless of their chosen pathway.
"I pride myself on preparing students for the real world, and I feel even more passionately about ensuring students in our area are equipped for life after school," she said.
"Students in the Beenleigh and Logan area were on the back foot for the longest time, and it is my mission to ensure their rising success whether they choose an apprenticeship or go on to complete TAFE, or a University Degree after school.
"I would like to thank the Australian Education Awards 2022 for selecting me among many amazing candidates nationally for this prestigious award."
Trinity College Principal Christopher Raju praised Ms Campbell's efforts in the VET and Student Pathways programs and said she was responsible for the programs' continued growth and development.
"Under Ms Campbell's leadership the program has become one of the largest offering of VET certifications at a non-government school in Southeast Queensland," Mr Raju said.
"Ms Campbell is a dynamic leader and inspiring teacher, and we are so proud to see her work recognised with an Excellence Award in this year's Australian Education Awards 2022.
"This is a huge accomplishment for Ms Campbell, and the success of our Student Pathways program can be attributed to her specialist knowledge in relevant policy and legislation, the introduction and collaborative development of teaching programs and subjects, that support the participation of all students with an aim to develop future pathways."
