The theme was Alice in Onederland, and team members came dressed as popular characters from Alice in Wonderland including Alice, the Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Red Queen and the White Rabbit.
Attendees were also treated to a Mad Hatter's tea party with handmade decorations made by residents, a selection of nibbles, cake and speeches.
Residence Manager Hayley Palmer gave a recap of the year that was, and said the Arcare community had become a second family for her.
"Within our first month of opening, we welcomed Shirley and Neil Parsons, David Barnes, Gloria McCann, Eric Ehlers, Eve Harbeck, Judith Watts and Margaret Fardell," Ms Palmer said.
"Arcare Logan Reserve residents and team members have become an extension of my own family and I look forward to welcoming more residents and team members to our community."
Since its initial intake, the home has welcomed a further 106 residents and special mention was made of the 20 team members who had stayed on the entire first year.
The home's very first residents, Shirley and Neil Parsons were invited to cut the cake and one resident Robert had written a letter thanking the Arcare team.
"This is an amazing place to live and to all team members at Arcare, you are all valuable treasures," Robert said.
"Be proud of who you all are because the residents are all proud of you."
