Quota Jimboomba is now accepting entries for its annual art show

Art show coordinator Brenda Fielding said the organisation was looking forward to even more submissions to this year's show, after nearly 280 pieces were submitted to last year's show.

"This will be our 20^th show and we're looking forward to it," Mrs Fielding said.

"Last year's opening night event was well-attended by artists and guests.

"We had a lot of new artists submit work last year, and hope even more join in this year."

Artists can submit pieces across eight different categories - traditional, modern, three-dimensional and student art, open and student photography, textiles and crafts and an all-abilities category.

Entries for this year's show close on Saturday September 24, and entry forms can be downloaded from the Quota Jimboomba Art Show Facebook page.

Entries cost $10 per piece for adults and $5 per piece for students, with each artist allowed a maximum of six entries.

The grand opening of the show will take place on October 7, and all submitted artworks will be on display until Sunday October 9.
