AN elderly driver was taken to Beaudesert Hospital after a three-car accident this afternoon.
Police said a car hit two others before veering off the road, mounting the footpath and hitting a plantar box. It came to rest up against a building on Brisbane Street.
The man was in a stable condition after the accident near the William Street intersection.
Queensland Ambulance Service could not confirm the man's age, but said it was reported he was in his 60s or 70s.
Paramedics assessed three others at the scene, but they declined hospital transport.
