Santa Claus swapped his sleigh for a fire engine as he arrived in style at Jimboomba's Christmas celebrations on Friday night.
He handed out presents to local kids while the tunes played and a big crowd gathered at Rotary Park for the event.
Kids blared sirens in a police car while others had a go at vintage fire hoses on an old Dodge firetruck provided by the Beenleigh Historical VIllage and Museum.
Later in the evening, there were Christmas carols hosted by the JC Family Church, and The Grinch played on the big screen.
Kids lined up to get their faces painted, and the Quota Jimboomba women put on arts and crafts activities at Dorrington House.
Division 9 councillor Scott Bannan said he was pleased with the turnout, and organisers had plenty planned for future years.
