Brisbane Broncos players are dropping in to a couple of Logan vaccination hubs tomorrow as the state government's jab push targets rugby league fans.
Prop forward Payne Haas will join second rower Jordan Riki and five-eighth Tyson Gamble at Mabel Park State High School from noon until 1.30pm.
Props Patrick Carrigan and Xavier Willison will accompany second rower Keenan Palasia at Shailer Park State High School from 12.30pm-1.30pm.
Park Ridge is open on Saturday from 9am-1pm, while Shailer Park's centre's hours are 8am-2pm.
At Mabel Park, walk-ins can get vaccinated between 9am and 1pm Saturday.
It comes as the state passes a milestone, with 80 per cent of people having had their first dose of the vaccine.
it comes as no new locally-acquired cases were reported in Queensland this morning.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk urged people to get vaccinated.
"As we approach our 80 per cent double vaccination milestone and to safely welcome more tourists back to regional towns and cities this holiday season, we need more people in the regions to step up and receive a safe and effective COVID-19 vaccine," Ms Palaszczuk said.
No new locally-acquired cases were reported in the state overnight.
One overseas-acquired case was detected in hotel quarantine.
