Police charged two men after finding drugs and cash during a vehicle stop at Kingston on Friday.
Officers say they found methylamphetamine worth $20,000 and nearly $900 in cash during the stop.
Tactical Crime Squad officers saw two cars driving erratically on the Logan Motorway at 8.50pm.
Police followed one of the vehicles to a Kingston address, where they say a man ran from the car and was detained.
Officers say they found a bag with 52 grams of meth. They also found $890 cash.
The man, 42, from Moorooka, faces drugs possession charges. He is also charged with possessing utensils and proceeds of crime.
He is in custody after appearing in Beenleigh Magistrates Court.
A second man will appear in the same court on October 20, where he face drugs possession charges..
