Already swimmer Emma McKeon sits comfortably in the company of two exalted Olympians. On Sunday she gets a chance to take a seat at the head of the table.
McKeon joins Ian Thorpe and Leisel Jones as Australians with nine career Olympic medals after bagging gold and bronze in the 200m backstroke and mixed medley relay respectively on Saturday.
Five consecutive finals remain on Sunday to close out Tokyo's swim program.
And Australian swimmers are genuine shots in three of them, with McKeon and Cate Campbell in the 50m freestyle followed by men's and women's 4x100m medley relays.
SUNDAY
Golf starts the day at 8.30am with Cameron Smith (11th) and Marc Leishman (49th) hoping for a brighter day.
The Andrew Hoy-led equestrians turn their attention to cross-country from 8.45am while shooting and also athletics get busy early on, too.
There's also a full program of athletics which stretches into the evening. It starts with the women's hammer throw at 10.10am, includes men's 400m rounds.
SWIMMING
And the 27-year-old is expected to surpass them on Sunday when the gold medal favourite contests the 50m freestyle at 11.37am. She set an Olympic record in Saturday's semi-final to be quickest qualifier for the dash. Cate Campbell also swims for Australia.
McKeon is also expected to be in the women's 4x100m medley relay final at 12.45pm.

HOCKEY
The Kookaburras will tackle the might of the Netherlands in the second quarter-final at 10.30am.
TABLE TENNIS
Australia's women's team plays Germany in the last 16 round at 3.30pm.
BMX FREESTYLE
The women's action kicks off at11.10am with Aussie Natalya Diehm in the mix. With No.1 seed Logan Martin lighting up the bowl on Saturday, he'll lead the podium charge in the men's event from 12.20pm.
Martin was the only rider in the men's or women's events in the two seeding rounds to score more than 90 points at Ariake Sports Park to confirm his gold medal favouritism.
SAILING
The Aussie sailing team will perform in Mixed Nacra 17 and both 470 events from 1.05pm on Sunday. That before the men's Finn and Women's Laser Radial take to the water later in the afternoon.
DIVING
Esther Qin will fly the Australian flag in the final of the women's 3m springboard but Tokyo teammate Anabelle Smith narrowly missed the 12-diver field.
WATER POLO
Australia plays South Africa at 8.50pm.
BEACH VOLLEYBALL
Australia's women tackle China in the last 16 at 10pm.
