JUST one behind was the difference in a low-scoring QFAW Division 2 match between Beenleigh Buffaloes and Jimboomba Redbacks on the weekend.
The Buffaloes got revenge for their loss to Jimboomba in last year's grand final in the 1.3 (9) to 1.2 (8) win at Dauth Park.
Jaime-Lea Ellis booted the single major for the visitors.
The men are coming off a round bye last weekend.
In other Redbacks matches, the under 12s continued their dominant season with a huge win over Mount Gravatt on Sunday.
The Redbacks won 9.16 (70) to 0.1 (1).
Cooper Motum booted six goals for the Redbacks. Cayden Hume and Jake Turketo joined him on the scoresheet.
Motum, Egan Mells and Kalen Dicieri were the Redbacks' best on ground. Corey Keen was given the Memorable Moments Award for his excellent efforts and for never giving up.
The under 14s fell to a behind at Mount Gravatt in a heartbreaking loss for the kids.
The Redbacks led by five points until 20 seconds before the final siren, when Mt Gravatt booted a major to claim the victory.
The Redbacks lost 3.5.23 to 2.10 (22) as errant goal kicking in the stiff breeze cost them.
The Redbacks women, who sit in fourth, are back at home at 4pm Saturday for a clash against Ballina.
Before that, the men's team takes on Ormeau on Friday at Glenlogan Park. The men are second on percentages.
