A 17-year-old boy has died in hospital from his injuries after a trail bike crash at Kingston yesterday afternoon.
They boy's bike hit a pole at the intersection of Eridani Avenue and SIrius Street about 5.10pm.
The boy was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital, in a critical condition, with serious head injuries. He died in hospital.
Police said a 16-year-old girl, who was a pillion passenger on the bike, also went to PA Hospital with serious leg injuries.
The rider and passenger were from Chinchilla.
The Logan District Forensic Crash Unit is investigating, and has appealed for any witnesses, or anyone with dashcam footage, to contact them.

A spate of accidents across the region followed the motorcycle crash.
There were crashes at Park Ridge, Luscombe, Berrinba, Greenbank, Loganholme, Eagleby, Logan Central and Beenleigh.
