The huge guns were craned back in on Tuesday morning with fresh coats of olive drab colour.
The guns are green again and sub branches across the state will be green with envy, the locals say.
The Lest We Forget headstone was also put back in the memorial gardens as the renovations continued.
Eventually, the rising sun hat badge will be the centrepiece, and the design in the decorative concrete will be visible from the balcony as veterans toast their days.
The guns are the same models which played crucial roles in the Battle of Long Tan at Vietnam, and have been re-installed in time for the soldiers of that conflict to celebrate their day on August 18.
The Greenbank sub branch is built on those veterans, and secretary Doug Watts looked forward to commemorating their day.
"We will have a service at 11am, followed by refreshments," Mr Watts said.
He could not wait for the renovations to be unveiled later this year.
"It's going to look bloody wonderful," Mr Watts said.
"They [the guns] will look better than those ones in the army."
He would not reveal the total amount of money the work cost.
"It's a substantial amount of money," Mr Watts said.
Mr Watts and his colleagues will now put a call out for artists interested in painting a mural on the blank walls next to the club's car park.
They want an armed services theme.
"Anyone interested in putting their hand up, come and have a chat with us," he said.
"Then we can work something out with them."
