LOGAN Entertainment Centre will be one of 18 vaccination hubs across the state as the government extends its COVID-19 vaccine rollout to cover the weekends.
Logan will offer Pfizer vaccinations for people in the 40-49 year category who have registered their interest.
It will also be for aged care and disability workers who are yet to be vaccinated by the federal government.
The government expects to vaccinate 15,000 people this weekend.
"This expanded community rollout will help pave the way for mass vaccination centres operating later in the year when more supply becomes available," Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk said.
Ms Palaszczuk said people aged 50 and over should contact their GP about booking a vaccination.
Logan MP Linus Power said the centre's opening hours would be from 8am-5pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
