MASKED thieves smashed through a wall separating two Jimboomba businesses in a night raid on Monday.
It was the first of a series of robberies across the area, where thieves hit a supermarket at Yarrabilba and an Eagleby business.
The first robbery happened about 11.50pm, when offenders broke through the wall between Smart Cuts Hair Salon and Cignall tobacconist in Jimboomba Central.
They had entered through the door at the front of the salon before breaking through into the tobacconist.
They stole cigarettes and tobacco, and damaged cupboards in the store. Owner operator Yunus Hussein said he was still working out what was missing on Thursday.
Mr Hussein said it was the first time he had been targeted in more than six years.
"In general, the people in the area are very honest," he said.
Police said the thieves headed north on the Mount Lindesay Highway, after fleeing in a gold Citroen sedan with 263 LBC plates.
Less than an hour later, two masked offenders stole tobacco and cash from a Yarrabilba Drive supermarket.
Shortly before 2am the next day, a gold sedan pulled up at the rear of an Eagleby shopping centre, where two masked offenders force their way into a store.
They stole tobacco products before fleeing in the gold sedan.
Detectives have released a series of images and CCTV footage as they appeal for assistance to identify the thieves.
They have asked anyone with dashcam footage from the early hours of Tuesday morning, or anyone who saw the sedan in the area, to come forward.
