A NASA astronaut will treat Jimboomba kids to an out-of-this-world experience on Wednesday.
Shannon Walker will read to youngsters from the International Space Station as part of Simultaneous Storytime.
Jimboomba Library will host a leg of the event. Dr Walker will also be beamed to Beenleigh, Logan Hyperdome and Logan North libraries as part of Under Eights Week.

More than 1 million children across Australia and New Zealand will tune in to Dr Walker's reading of Give Me Some Space!
The story, by Australian author and illustrator Philip Bunting, is about a young girl's dreams of life in space.
It will be part of the Wriggle and Rhyme sessions and include a pre-recorded segment featuring the picture book.
Dr Walker was the flight engineer on the International Space Station for Expedition 64, the latest conducted from the International Space Station.
She has been an astronaut with NASA since 2004 and is married to Australian-born astronaut Andy Thomas.
Dr Walker began her career in 1987 as a robotics flight controller for the Space Shuttle Program and has also worked space shuttle missions as a flight controller at Mission Control, Houston.
Bunting's books have been translated into multiple languages and published in more than 30 countries.
The author has received multiple accolades including honours from the Children's Book Council of Australia.

A limited number of free activity packs also will be available through the libraries to celebrate Under Eights Week.
They are full of craft and activity ideas for children aged three to eight-years-old. They are available from all Logan libraries branches from Wednesday, May 19.
