EMMAUS College students enjoyed dunking teachers for charity, while volunteers sizzled more than 1700 sausages for the school's big day earlier this month.
Sideshow alley rides, sports, art and other activities were also part of Emmaus Day on April 23.
The event, the biggest of the school's year, started with a liturgy and ended with a service to honour soldiers who paid the ultimate prize as Anzac Day weekend approached.
Year 10 student Hayden Milligan played the Last Post and Reveille. Music students sang the New Zealand and Australian national anthems.
"It was an important day," a school spokesman said.
"The day allows us to continue to develop our sense of belonging and community spirit whilst celebrating who we are and what we have.
"The day embraces the importance of relationships and community and allows for a continuation of building relationships and enjoying our hope-filled culture together."
A favourite among the students was the dunk tank, which raised $608 for Project Compassion, to help those facing poverty and injustice.
"The students loved the dunk tank," the spokesman said.
