A man has lost his licence and will face court after he was caught drink driving on a lawn mower.
To make matters worse, after he was stopped on Teviot Road, police ordered him off the vehicle.
When he returned to retrieve it the next day, his Husqvarna had been stolen.
Police say the man blew .149 after the incident at South Maclean.
They stopped the man about 9pm on Saturday as he motored down the road.
Officers allege the man blew .149 at Browns Plains Police Station.
His licence was suspended and he is due to face Beaudesert Magistrates Court in January.
The man took to social media days later to report the mower had been stolen.
He did not want to comment when contacted by the Jimboomba Times.
Senior Constable Hayden Wilson slammed the man's behaviour.
"Drink driving, even on a lawn mower, can have devastating consequences," Senior Constable Wilson said.
"This driving behaviour was detected as part of operation Own It.
"Operation Own It is putting the spotlight on community and road safety.
"We are asking our community to own their responsibility to drive safely, to reduce the harm of road trauma that impacts the community."
Husqvarna ride ons are advertised for $3429, making it an expensive day for the man.
