A FIVE-for and hat-trick to spinner Graham Clark was the highlight of the Jimboomba Bushrangers' win in division 2 cricket on the weekend.
The Bushrangers survived a batting scare to steal victory from Springwood at Glenlogan Park.
They were 8-68 and chasing 154 before lower order batsmen got them over the line in the Logan District Cricket Association match.
Clark finished the innings on 25 not out, to back up his earlier bowling exploits.
His off-spinners had the Springwood batsmen in all sorts of trouble. Clark took 6-27 from eight overs.
The first wicket of his hat-trick was a catch to Josh Graham on the mid-wicket boundary. Clark then beat the next batsmen with flight and grabbed a good caught and bowled.
Matt Turbill took a sitter three metres from the bat at silly mid on to complete the hat-trick.
The Bushrangers players mobbed him and Clark. It was the club's first hat-trick in nearly three seasons.
Ty Avery took 2-14. Graham was the other wicket taker, bagging 1-26 for the Bushrangers.
The first 11 beat Beaudesert for a bonus-point win on Saturday.
The Bushrangers put on 194 before bowling Beaudesert out for 154.
Phil Bourke's 89 was the highlight for the Bushrangers.
They took regular wickets on their way to the win, with Sammy Matthews snaring 4-40, Max Harkin 3-42 and Phil Bourke backing up his batting to bag 2-18.
