Rain, lightning and hail put a end to this weekend matches for the Jimboomba Bushrangers, with both games at Glenlogan Park being abandoned just after the start of play.
The rain had saved the Bushrangers from trouble in Division 2, after a top order collapse got the match off to a bad start.
The Bushrangers' Green team was 3-10 in the fifth over when players were forced from the field by a storm.
Thomas Cook and Matt Turbill had scored ducks, and Declan Abberton was dismissed for three.
Ryan Galea was on 2 not out and Josh Graham had scored a single when the storm hit.
First X1 skipper Tom Jellie lost the toss and was asked to bat first from the Loganholme captain on the turf wicket when a lightning strike close to the grounds forced the players under cover for 30 minutes.
With a shower of rain, play started late and the match was reduced to 31 overs.
Opening batsmen Rodney Teese and Shannon White got the innings of to a flyer until White was caught in the slips for 13 off 11 balls in the fifth over, with the score at 33.
Lightning forced the players from the field again at the start of the seventh over with the score at 1-49, with Teese 26 not out from off 19 balls and Phil Bourke 6 not out. The players did not get back onto the field again.
Both Division 2 teams travel to Gleneagle to play this weekend. The Greens play Loganholme, who are top of the table, and the Golds take on Beaudesert.
Firsts play Yarrabilba Canetoads at Glenlogan Park.
