LABOR has won the Queensland election, holding 47 seats, with the LNP 33, six are in doubt and seven are held by minor parties.
In Redlands Capalaba MP Don Brown has beaten the LNP's Bev Walters.
The seat of Redlands - a key battleground - has been held by Kim Richards who will defeat the LNP's Henry Pike.
The LNP's Mark Robinson has won Oodgeroo against the ALP's Irene Henley and a challenge from Independent Claire Richardson.
In the Scenic Rim, the LNP's Jon Krause has easily held the seat while in Logan Linus Power has retained the seat for Labor.
Labor's Charis Mullen has held Jordan while Mick de Brenni has won Springwood.
Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk was gracious about Opposition leader Deb Frecklington saying she had fought a good campaign.
Oddly, Ms Frecklington chose to make a concession speech at the same time as Ms Palaszczuk's victory speech, saying that she would be leading the party for the next four years.

LABOR has 47 seats, the LNP 33 and nine are in doubt, putting the ALP in a strong position to retain power.
It will be a great victory for Premier Annastacia Palaszczuk who has been under great pressure over tough COVID-19 restrictions.
It means she will have won three elections in a row, elevating her to the ranks of major Labor Party figures.
She initially was dubbed the accidental premier after winning power from the Newman government in 2015.
It had imploded after just one term, with a string of far right policies like a plan to put jailed bikies in pink jump suits and allowing cattle grazing in some national parks.
KAP has three seats and the Greens two, with former deputy premier Jackie Trad having lost her seat in South Brisbane.

POLLS closed at 6pm in the Queensland state election.
Although the count has started, the Queensland Electoral Commission has warned there are many postal votes, meaning the possibility of a drawn out tally in close seats.
Sitting MP Jon Krause in Scenic Rim is in a strong position, holding 43 per cent of votes counted so far.
Sitting Labor MP Don Brown has taken a major lead in the seat of Capalaba over LNP candidate Bev Walters.
With 27 per cent counted, he has 47 per cent of the vote compared with the LNP's 29 per cent.
In the swing seat of Redlands Labor's sitting MP Kim Richards is leading LNP candidate Henry Pike 43 per cent to 34 per cent, with 16 per cent counted.
With 16 per cent added in Oodgeroo, the LNP's MP Mark Robinson has opened up a handy lead over Independent Claire Richardson and Labor's Irene Henley.
In the seat of Logan, 19 per cent has been counted and the ALP's Linus Power has a commanding lead.
Mick de Brenni is leading in Springwood but the LNP's Kirrily Boulton is still in the race.
Labor's Charis Mullen has a big lead in Jordan and appears home and hosed.
