Jimboomba locals have flocked to the town's pre-polling booth as predictions of COVID-19 affecting election day numbers look to be correct.
Party volunteers say they have seen a steady stream of voters turn out at the Jimboomba Community and District Hall to cast their vote early ahead of election day on October 31.

Current MP Linus Power is listed last on the ballot. Up against him, in ballot order, is Peter Weber, from One Nation, followed by Sam Iskander (Clive Palmer's United Australia Party), Liam Jenkinson (Greens) and Clinton Pattison (Liberals).
Mr Weber and Mr Iskander were late nominations and appeared on the ballot after October 10's Logan Country Safe City forum at Jimboomba.
Mr Power said he was not concerned about his position on the paper.
Jordan's MP, Charis Mullen, who is also last on that seat's ballot paper, did not attend that forum.
Mrs Mullen is battling Greens' Navdeep Singh, Neil Symes (One Nation), and Liberals' Andrew Mooney for her seat.
Cedar Vale residents Catalin and Anneli Florea said they preferred to vote early instead of waiting until election day.
"It doesn't suit us on Saturday, and it's good to have that option," Mrs Florea said.
"It's a central location, which is really good.
"Most people come this way, for the school, library or Woolies."
Mr Catalin said he preferred not to take the risk of waiting for election day to cast his vote.
"You never know what could happen on the day, and you could get a fine," he said.
Liberal party volunteer Bernie Gaynor said the booth had been popular since opening on Monday.
"A lot of people have expressed their pleasure at being able to get in and out quickly," he said.

"But pre-polling does place a burden on the major parties."
Nicola Tracey, who was volunteering for the Labor Party, agreed that it had been busy.
"We have had a couple of busy days," she said.
Jimboomba's early voting centre is open until October 30, except for Sunday.
On Tuesday and Thursday, it is open from 9am-9pm. It is open until 6pm on Wednesday and Friday, and 5pm Saturday.
