A Flagstone couple's passion in raising the profile of boutique honey producers has won them an award.
Jason and Natasha Roebig of Bee All Natural have been named the 11th #eatqld champions.
They were announced as the winners today, by Agricultural Industry Development and Fisheries Minister Mark Furner.
They joined chef Dominique Rizzo, Murgon winery Clovely Estate, Creek to Coast host Scott Hillier, Walkamin entrepreneur Krista Watkins, Bowen horticulturalist Carl Walker and Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre's executive chef David Pugh as #eatqld champions to promote Queensland's food scene.
The Roebigs said they were thrilled to win the award.
"This honour will provide us with an important platform to showcase the continual efforts and challenges that beekeepers face," Mrs Roebig said.
"Especially on the back of the continuing drought and the recent bushfires. As an industry, we're all in this together."
Mr Roebig said he was also thrilled.
"This is such a privilege and a great opportunity to promote the hard work that Queensland beekeepers undertake to provide a world class product," he said.
