THE Queensland State Fair was a hit at Jimboomba on the weekend.
Families from Logan and beyond came to Hills College to enjoy carnival favourites including food, rides and games.
Jimmy Brookes from Royal Seating Hire said the carnival industry had been hit hard by COVID-19 and organisers had worked hard to ensure the event would be safe for attendees.
"A lot of ride and amusement operators are out of work, and we've been out of work since around mid March when this all started," he said.
"We've worked for months on a COVID plan to make sure everyone's safe and we operate properly."
Numbers are limited to 500 at a time and visitors are required to sign in on arrival.
The fair is back from Friday to Sunday at Hills College.
