A Cedar Grove man is facing drugs and firearms charges after police allegedly found a loaded shotgun in his ute at a Jimboomba service station on Saturday night.
Police say they also found ammunition, knives, cocaine, anxiety drug alprazolam, methylamphetamine, cannabis and meloxicam, an anti-inflammatory drug, when they searched the car.
Police searched the man's Toyota Landcruiser at the Cerina Circuit service station about 9.30pm.
They say they found the shotgun, which had a light mounted to it, between the front seats of the ute.
The man, 44, was charged with five counts of possessing dangerous drugs.
He was also charged with having a knife in a public place, unlawful weapon possession, possessing explosives, possessing a shortened firearm, possessing restricted drugs and drug utensils, and possessing property used in a drug crime.
The man was due to appear in the Beenleigh Magistrates Court today.
