Former Tasmanian electrician Jesse Teinaki will perform his blind audition tonight on Channel Nine's The Voice.
The talented 28-year-old singer returns to the show for another chance at winning.
Mr Teinaki hopes he can turn the chairs of the four celebrity judges Delta Goodrem, Kelly Rowland, Boy George, and Guy Sebastian.
He said if he were lucky enough to turn a chair and had the chance to choose a coach, it would be Goodrem because of their connection.
Sydney-based Mr Teinaki told The Advocate he learned so much last year appearing on the show where he made it to the top 24 with Sebastian and was saved by Goodrem in the knockouts.
Mr Teinaki was a crowd favourite because of his talent and how gracious he was towards fellow contestant Natasha Stuart who was undergoing cancer treatment.
Mr Teinaki did not make it through his battle round against Ms Stuart, who won, but the judges praised both artists for their performances. Mr Teniaki said it was one of his favourite live performance experiences to perform alongside Ms Stuart, who tragically died this year.
He said she told him he should come back for another chance.
The Voice winner receives a recording contract and $100,000 in prize money.
The show is in its ninth season, and this year during the blind auditions, each coach is allowed two blocks to deny the other judges to pitch for a contestant.
