Two teenagers were arrested in Loganlea last night after police used road spikes to stop the stolen car they were in.
The teenagers, a 15-year-old boy and 17-year-old girl, were arrested after their car mounted the kerb on Jellicoe Street, about a kilometre after the spikes had deflated the tyres.
They have been charged with driving and drug offences, and will appear before Beenleigh Children's Court after the pursuit which began just after 10pm.
Police spotted the vehicle, which had been stolen from Crestmead that day, on Bardon Road, Logan Central.
Numerous crews responded, police said, and they used spikes to deflate the car's tyres on Kingston Road, Kingston.
