A veterinary chain which operates in Jimboomba, Beaudesert and Capalaba will donate ventilators to help fight coronavirus.
Greencross the Pet Company will give human-grade ventilators to the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society to assist the COVID-19 response.
It follows the Australian Veterinarian Board Council's call for veterinary facilities to make their equipment available if the demand for ventilators exceeded the number of machines available in Australian hospitals.
Along with donating all human-grade ventilators available, Greencross Vets and their network of emergency and specialist clinicians will assist their human health care colleagues.

Greencross Vets' chief veterinary officer Dr Magdoline Awad said the business was committed to the fight.
"We understand the stress COVID-19 has put on our healthcare industry, with ventilators in high demand in intensive care units as they are critical in the treatment of people with severe respiratory compromise," Dr Awad said.
"As a business, we are committed to doing all we can to help those on the frontline in the event hospitals require extra support."
"In response to The Australian Veterinarian Board Council's urgent call out, we are prepared to donate all the human-grade ventilators we have available across our GP, emergency and veterinary hospitals should the need arise.
"We will continue to work closely with the Australia and New Zealand Intensive Care Society to respond to further demand and ensure we are doing all we can to help in this time of need."
All ventilators donated will be human-grade and sterilised, to ensure they comply with strict hospital requirements.
