Commuters will soon be able to have their say on early designs for the proposed expansion of the Greenbank RSL park and ride at Hillcrest.
The project, which will cost $21 million, includes 600 park and ride spaces, secure bike racks, upgraded bus stops and amenities for bus drivers.
The contract has been awarded to Jacobs Group Australia.
"This project will support about 50 jobs, so not only will it give local commuters more spaces to leave their cars and jump on a bus, but it will give our local job market a boost too," Logan MP Linus Power said.
"This $21 million upgrade at Greenbank is part of the Palaszczuk Government's wider $116 million park 'n' ride building program across south east Queensland.
"It's also part of a larger transport investment strategy in the City of Logan, including delivering more than $100 million worth of upgrades for Mount Lindesay Highway and developing a business case for a new passenger rail link between Salisbury and Beaudesert," he said.
