Five people have been hospitalised after being exposed to chemicals in a workplace incident at Browns Plains this afternoon.
Paramedics took two patients to Royal Brisbane Hospital and a further three to Queen Elizabeth Hospital in stable conditions after the incident reported at 12.28pm.
They were treated for breathing difficulty, headaches, eye irritability and dizziness.
Three paramedic crews, including a critical care paramedic, were called to the scene on Grand Plaza Drive.
A senior paramedic said people were exposed to a gas-like substance.
"On scene we assessed 14 patients and we ended up treating and transporting five," Metro South senior operations supervisor Chris Perera said.
