Logan District Crime Prevention Unit, in partnership with Logan Village Yarrabilba Station, will host an anti-theft screw 'safe plate' event in Yarrabilba on February 23.
Police will co-ordinate the event which will see anti-theft screws fixed to your vehicle registration plates to prevent theft.
By doing this, you significantly reduce the chance of your plates being removed and stolen from your vehicle.
The event runs from 9am-11am at Darlington Parklands carpark on Yarrabilba Drive.
With the support of Altrex, Logan District Crime Prevention Units Safe Plate Project is making a dent in number plate theft in Logan.
Volunteers will be on hand to help install the plates.
We will be located in the Darlington Parklands carpark accessed from Yarrabilba Drive, Yarrabilba.
If you need to remove the screws, you can go to any Queensland police station.
The Logan District Crime Prevention Unit can organised a group installation at workplaces and community groups.
