Two people who have beaten depression will host a Logan course to teach others how to overcome the condition.
An information session on Monday at Greenbank will introduce participants to an eight-week course on how to free their lives of depression.
It is on at 6.45pm at the Greenbank Community Centre and Men's Shed. Organisers invite Logan and Scenic Rim residents to attend.
Then, the program, which organisers say has a high success rate, will run for eight weeks.
Its success stories include Ted, a retired police officer who battled alcoholism and attempted suicide.
The 63-year-old used the program to overcome his problems.
Lynne has also had success. The 42-year-old mother-of-two escaped domestic violence and depression.
She learnt coping skills and is now free of the condition.
Ted and Lynne are group leaders at the program.
